Vinyl Floor Cleaning in Melbourne

REDCARPETreatment specialises in Vinyl Floor Cleaning in Melbourne. Vinyl is a great flooring surface to have in any area of your home. It always looks appealing in the kitchen, dining areas or even in the bathrooms, but after a long period of time it can look a bit tired and dull. But this does not mean that you have to go and break into your savings and replace the flooring. Stripping, cleaning and sealing the existing vinyl can bring it back to new life. And it will cost a mere fraction of the cost to replace them with new Floors.

What is the difference between Vinyl Strip, Clean and Seal and Vinyl clean?

Vinyl strip, clean and seal is the process of stripping the vinyl flooring before resealing it. As mentioned above, Vinyl flooring can look dull and grabby after use over a period of time. By stripping, cleaning and resealing it, the vinyl will look good as new. As far as Vinyl Clean is concern, most cleaners use a high pH solution to clean the vinyl and at the same time remove the existing seal a little every time, the clean is done. And after 2 or 3 cleans the shine which is actually the seal is removed and the Vinyl is left looking dull without its shine. So a much trusted way to get the shine back into your Vinyl would be to Strip, clean and seal!

We, at REDCARPETreatment will go through the job processes meticulously and professionally. The process is as follows:

  1. The first step is of course to get any visible sediments off the floor by vacuuming with a hospital grade anti-allergen filtered vacuum cleaner.
  2. The second step is the actual process of stripping of the existing seal off the Vinyl floor. This is an important aspect of the job. In order to get the desired finish, all existing seal MUST be stripped off the exist Vinyl floor. This is done with the application of the stripping agent onto the floor with a suitable mop. The process continues with the actual stripping by using a rotary machine with low RPM to scrub the existing seal off the vinyl floor with the cylindrical black pad. All hard to get corners and edges will be scrubbed manually with the small rectangular pads on handles.
  3. The third step is the cleaning, which is just as important. The floor is thoroughly cleaned, so that it is free of dust, removed seal, residue and anything else that can affect the new sealer. The cleaning is done with high powered truck mounted machine at a suitable PSI which is the pressure the water exerted on a surface measuring a square inch with a neutral cleaning solution.
  4. The fourth step is the drying process. A couple of Air movers are placed on the cleaned floor to speed up the drying.
  5. The fifth step is the sealing. Once, the floor is dried, the new sealer is then applied to the floor and allowed to set. The new sealer will be applied in 3 coats, ensuring each coat is dried before applying subsequent coats.

Once set properly, the newly sealed floor will not only look as new again, it will also protect the vinyl surface and make it much easier to clean. Tile & Grout cleaning services in Melbourne

Cleaning the dirty, oiled surface of the kitchen tiles or the rather slippery surface of you bathroom tiles or stained grout lines can be challenging or many times even ‘back-breaking’. It’s well and good to mop your floor tiles but normal regular mopping only moves the dirt around and leaves dirty detergent residue in the grout. Detergent residue attracts more dirt and grime, and when left unattended, can eventually stain your grout, and in most situations, beyond cleaning. We at REDCARPETreatment, through the use of a 25 H/P truck mounted machine can do the job for you in half the time. The tools we use are specifically designed for tile & grout cleaning services in Melbourne which incorporates heat, ecofriendly cleaning agents, a high powered vacuum and a 1200 psi high pressure rinse that loosens deeply embedded soil, grime, and dirt from fine crevices or cracks and from grout.

Is the grout of your floor tile sealed?

Grout is porous which simply means, its penetrable and if it’s not sealed, over a period time, oil based stains, dirt, and detergent residue due to overzealous mopping will penetrate through into the grout. And, once it does, it’s NOT going to be possible to remove. A protected shield over the grout eliminates this problem. Yes! The grout can be protected by applying a seal after the actual laying of the tiles during construction or, after REDCARPETreatment has professionally cleaned it. Not only will your tiles shine and look fresh but the protective sealer actually makes it much easier to maintain during professional cleans. REDCARPETreatment takes pride to note that we are trained in Tile & Grout cleaning services and are highly sought after in Melbourne.
